A twenty-four-year-old slacker named Scott Carlin, lives with his mother in Staten Island. The father of the main character was a New York firefighter who, as a result of a tragic combination of circumstances, died while performing official duties. The unpleasant event affected the guy's worldview.
Having lost his dad, he completely lost his hands. Carlin Jr. prefers to spend most of his time smoking "weed" and trying to learn how to beat tattoos. His fellow jerks act as test subjects. One day, another thoughtless act of a lazy man led to the fact that his mother Marge decides to go on a romantic date with a peer Ray, who works as a firefighter. While warm relations are being formed between middle-aged people, Scott's useless existence, negatively related to his mother's boyfriend, finally has a specific goal that can affect his future.
