Mid-seventies of the last century, India. The Prime Minister declares a state of emergency throughout the State. The leader of the rebel group, Man Singh, is a natural leader, a ruthless and treacherous man. The revolutionaries are based in a region called Chambal, in which the principles of legality have long ceased to operate. The rebels need finances to buy weapons to continue the confrontation with the government army.
Soon they receive information that a wedding celebration will take place in a small settlement located near their base, at which the groom will receive a fortune. Singh decides to attack the village. in order to steal money directly from the wedding. Vigilant law enforcement officers managed to find out Mana's plans. The police immediately begin to prepare an ingenious trap for unsuspecting criminals.
